Obituary of Anna Monchuk

Anna V. Monchuk, age 99, of Erie, passed away peacefully at her daughter's residence on Thursday, April 2, 2015. She was born in the Ukraine on October 6, 1915, the daughter of the late Vasil and Palagia Savula. She had lived in the Erie area since 1991 and was a member of the First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, her grandchildren, and having a good time.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alexander Monchuk, one son Vasil Monchuk, two daughters, Olena "Helen" Yevchak, Maria Monchuk, and one grandson Vitaliy Yevchak. She is survived by one daughter Yaroslva Tkhorik (Alexander), four grandchildren: Igor, Oleg, Raisa, and Igor, and fifteen great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday (today) from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:a.m. until interment at 12:00 Noon at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
