Sue Farina Bernardini, age 59, of Millcreek Twp. passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. She was born in Erie on March 28, 1956, the daughter of Corinne (Adams) Farina of Erie and the late Andrew Farina. She was employed at Erie Insurance. Sue was a member of Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church and enjoyed cooking, bowling, and her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Pete Bernardini, four children: Sandy Hackwelder (Eric), Jennifer DeGroff (Jamie), Craig Wilczynski (Becky), Jaime Musone (Steve), three sisters: Judy Burkevich (Joe), Bonnie Bowman (Jeff), Cheryl Dudley (Richard), one brother Andrew Farina (Michelle), ten grandchildren: Livvy and Major Hackwelder, Nicholas, Madison, and Hailey DeGroff, Reese and Ryder Wilczynski, Camilla and Luca Musone, and baby Musone. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Farina. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. and are invited there on Monday for prayers at 10:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bone Marrow Foundation at www.bonemarrow.org.
