Heaven just gained another angel when Connie Green passed away on Monday, May 25, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Connie was born on December 22, 1942 in Erie, the daughter of the late Donald and Marie Carson Swan.
In her youth, Connie was a beautiful singer in a musical group and also was a talented interior decorator.
She is survived by her loving husband Stan Green, Sr., three children: Stan Green, Jr. (Kelly), Valerie Green (Daniel Hills), Jeffrey Green, four sisters: Debbie Sihto, Sandy Graham, Marie Lemme, Kim Swan, two brothers, Donald and Lester Swan, her grandchildren: Jesse, Justin, Brandon, Stan III Green, Brittany Kowalczyk Hills, Cole Hills, and great-grandchildren: Jude, Aiden, Jax, Delaney, and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday from 3 p.m. until time of service there at 7:00 p.m. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Make A Wish Foundation, The Gulf Tower, 707 Grant St., 37th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15219-1938.
