Rose Marie Cummings Lindner, age 71, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 24, 2015 at Millcreek Community Hospital. She was born in Erie on February 26, 1944 the daughter of the late Archie D. and Rose M. Vicks Cummings. Rose was very spontaneous, fun loving person who always took care of stray pets.
She is survived by one daughter Marcia Lindner of Millcreek, her former husband Richard Lindner, one sister, Veronica Cummings Olszewski of Avon Lake, OH, one brother Paul Cummings of SC, one aunt Victoria DeCoursey of Millcreek Twp., and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister Jean Kosarou and one brother, Charles Drenz.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until prayers at 11:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Jude R.C. Church, 2801 West 6th Street at 12:00 Noon. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to NAMI of Erie County, 1611 Peach Street, Erie, PA, 16501.
