Obituary of Douglas Chase

Douglas Michael Chase Doug Chase passed away on Monday, October 11, 2010 suddenly in his Millcreek residence. He was born on July 9, 1955. He was a 1973 graduate of McDowell H.S. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert C. Chase in April, 2006. He is survived by his mother, Leona M. Chase, an uncle, James Krebs (Gayle), and several cousins. Doug was employed at McDowell H.S. for six years as a school janitor and he also worked at Hyatt's Restaurant. Doug currently operated his own space at Folley's Indoor Flea Market and enjoyed going to auctions as well as collecting special items and memorabilia. Doug will be remembered as a great loyal neighbor to many. He watched the neighborhood animals while neighbors traveled and he was loved by all the children as well. Doug will be sorely missed by his mother, family, friends, and neighbors. The Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., handled all private arrangements.
