Obituary of Frederick L. Graf

Frederick L. Graf, 89, of Springhill in Millcreek Twp., passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015. He was born in Fort Recovery, Ohio on August 7, 1926, a son of the late Thurman and Nora Theurer Graf. Fred had resided in the Erie area since 2000. He served in the United States Navy during WWII and earned his bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Purdue University. He worked at Westinghouse in Pittsburgh until his retirement in 1985. Survivors include his sister-in-law, Mary (Kelley) Graf of Millcreek Twp., his niece Melissa (Graf) Pastore of Fairview Twp., two nephews, Robert Graf of Cleveland, OH, and John Graf of Ballston Lake, NY, and dear friends Kathleen and David Wayman of Erie, Private arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
