Obituary of Richard Duane Scott

Richard “Scotty” Dick” D. Scott, age 77, of Millcreek Twp., passed away at his residence after an extended illness surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, October 10, 2015. He was born on June 8, 1938 in Clintonville, PA, the son of the late Raymond and Geraldine Bell Scott. Scotty lived in the area (Harborcreek, Erie and Millcreek) most of his life. He was employed at Zurn Industries since 1966 until his retirement in 2002. He was very active in bowling, softball, and golf leagues. He enjoyed bowling and golfing. He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years Dorma J. Carnes Scott, six daughters: Michelle Wilson (Jeff) of Plum, PA, Yvonne Scott (Don) of Erie, Angela Scott of Erie, Charmaine Pena Morales (Julio) of West Springfield, Collette Trojanowski (John) of Erie, Renita Scott (Ben White) of Erie, one son Richard Scott of Warren, OH, his step-children: Laura Atkins (Tom) of Millcreek Twp., Jorge Penalvert of Millcreek, Stephen Penalvert (Sally) of Millcreek, Michael Penalvert (Hope) of Ridgway, PA, one sister Donna Rodland (Leonard) of Harborcreek, one nephew Michael Rodland (Karen) of Harborcreek, one great niece Marlie Rodland, 21 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 5 p.m. until 7p.m. with a Memorial Service being held within that time.
