Obituary of Robert E. Biebel

Robert E. “Ishka” “Mildred” “Big Bob Big” “Bob” Biebel Robert E. “Bob” Biebel, age 64, of Fairview, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Erie on May 5, 1951, the son of the late Nicholas A. and Betty Jane Bohman Biebel. He resided in Erie for 62 years and Houston, TX for 2 years. He was employed at the American Meter Co., Erie Forge, Specialty Baked Products, and Auto Body Connection. He played for the Erie Jets Football team for nine years and the Erie and Sharon Express Football team, and he was a part-time musician. He is survived by his wife and best friend Rosalie Ellen Carnes Biebel, two sons; Gabriel Jonathan Biebel of Girard, Jacob Nicholas Biebel of Fairview, one grandson on the way, one sister Linda Ann Hrinda of SC and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers; David Richard Biebel and Nicholas Herbert Biebel. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday, December 14, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 7:30 p.m. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Erie Regional Home Health Care and Hospice, 2564 Village Common Drive, Erie, PA 16506.
