Obituary of Bette Jane Randolph

Bette Jane Beckinger Randolph, age 86, of Millcreek Twp., passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, January 8, 2016 at her residence. She was born on March 15, 1929 in Sewickley, PA, the daughter of the late Elmer and Hannah Derr Beckinger. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Bette was preceded in death by her husband Walter I. Randolph in 2006, one son Richard G. Randolph, one daughter-in-law, Lorraine Randolph, two sisters; Wilma Tritsch and Jeanne Beckinger. Bette is survived by two daughters; Cynthia “Cyndie” Charcalla (Richard) of Ocala, FL, Lori Randolph of Fairview Twp., five grandchildren: Chris Shilling, Roberta Wellington (Tim), James Randolph (Jenn), Randolph Charcalla (Jenn), Jason Charcalla (Deana), eleven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may attend a Memorial Service at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 3108 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. conducted by the Rev. David McIlvried. Private interment. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, the Regional Cancer Center, 2500 West 12th Street, Erie, PA 16505 or to the Diabetes Association of Erie, 1128 State Street, #302, Erie, PA 16501.
