Thomas Mae Clark, 67, of Erie, transitioned on December 30, 2015. She was born in Drew, Miss. on January 20, 1948, the daughter of the late, Julie Mae Phillips and her father Thomas. She retired from Travelers Insurance after 20 years of employment. She was an entrepreneur and had her own day-care business and was a foster mom for 20 years, a Sunday school teacher, and was on the Usher Board under Archbishop LeRoy Bailey, Jr. at First Cathedral in Hartford, CT. She was a faithful member at Greater Calvary with Bishop Gavin. She was dedicated to her church family and the Lord. Thomas Mae had many talents. She was preceded in death by her mother, one brother William Phillips, Jr. Surviving her are five children: Monica and Nicole of Charlotte, NC, Tamara, Patrick, and Shalimar of Hartford, CT, one God Daughter Lasondra Hardy of Atlanta, GA, one sister Bette Phillips of Erie, three brothers: Jerry, Tony, and Elijah of Erie and many aunts, cousins, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
