Obituary of Audrey J. Theobald

Audrey J. Weyand Theobald, age 85, of Millcreek Twp., passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Erie on January 14, 1931, the daughter of the late Henry J. and Beatrice Shilling Weyand. Audrey was a school teacher for the Erie School District and then owned and operated The Emporium Gift Store. She was a member of the Presque Isle Garden Club and St. Jude the Apostle Church. She is survived by her loving husband of sixty-one years Michael J. Theobald, Jr., one daughter Therese M. McKolanis (John) of Pittsburgh, PA, two sons; Michael J. Theobald, III of WVA, Henry J. Theobald of Millcreek Twp., one brother Charles Weyand, one grandson Michael R. McKolanis. She was preceded in death by one daughter Julie Theobald. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Saturday, February 27th at 12:00 (noon) for a Prayer Service followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 2801 West 6th Street at 12:30 p.m. officiated by Rev. John J. Detisch. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carmelite Monastery, 510 East Gore Road, Erie, PA 16509-3799.
