Obituary of Gloria Mae Quinlan

Gloria Mae Hawley Quinlan, age 81, of Millcreek Twp., passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at UPMC-Hamot after a brief illness. She was born in Erie on June 12, 1934, the daughter of the late Walter Hawley and Thelma Weber. She had been employed at GTE as a phone operator, Seaway Aluminum, Litton Industries, and retire from Erie Insurance as a claims processor. Gloria was involved with PTA, Cub Scouts, was a member of First United Presbyterian Church of the Covenant; where she was a baby sitter in the Crèche, was a “Grandma” for GECAC sitting service, enjoyed bowling, ceramics, butterflies, was an avid fan of Rusty Wallace in NASCAR, was a huge fan of the Oakland Raiders and enjoyed watching the Final Four in basketball. She was preceded in death by her husband James Quinlan. She is survived by two sons; Kurt Kudlock and his wife Sue of Conneaut, OH, Jeff Kudlock and his wife Kim of Hampton, VA, one daughter Dawn Tran, her dad Lloyd Walter of Millcreek, one brother Walter Hawley and his wife Marti of Owego, NY, ten grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited there on Thursday, March 31, 2016 for the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.
