Phyllis J, Nantes Haight, age 77, of Millcreek Twp., passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Erie on November 15, 1938, the daughter of the late Henry and Gertrude Casey Nantes. Phyllis enjoyed golf, her card club and attending her grandchildren’s activities.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years Dallas E. Haight, eight children: Thomas (Debbie) of Simpsonville, SC, Daniel, Patrick, Sean (Amy), Robert (Teresa), David (Elisabeth) of Oswego, NY, Geoffrey (Toni) Haight of Wilmington, NC., Casey Lockwood (Ron) of Millcreek, fifteen grandchildren: Dallas, Evan, Jennifer (Scott) Soltis, Joshua, Alyssa, Makenna, Brenna, Samantha, Shianne, Justen, Sianna, Shaylyn, Ava, Brianne, and Carly, one great-grandson Theo, one sister Kay Lyon-Winfrey of Cincinnatti, OH, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister MaryLou Seib, one brother Richard Nantes, and one sister-in-law Joan Nantes.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday, April 15, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of prayers and sharing at 1:00 p.m. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693 or to the Autism Society, 1128 State St., Ste. 317, Erie, PA 16501.
