Kathryn L. Brown Worley, age 95, of Fairview Twp., went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Fairview Manor. She was born in Lewistown, PA on July 16, 1920, the daughter of the late William B. and Janet L. Knepp Brown. She was employed by the Millcreek Twp. School District and was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, the PA Association of School Retirees, Asbury Community Senior Citizens, and the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed bowling, bus trips, and traveling to visit family. Kathryn was preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard B. Worley, three brothers: Eugene, J. Glenn, and Robert Brown, her step mother Elsie Brown and a step daughter Joyce.
She is survived by three siblings: Kenneth Worley (Marge) of Waterford, JoAnne Mancusi of Miami, OK, Janet White (Larry) of Erie, eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two step granddaughters; Joy and Terri, and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Sunday, June 5, 2016 from 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to Asbury United Methodist Church, 4703 West Ridge Rd., Erie, PA 16506 on Monday, June 6, 2016 for additional visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service there at 11:00 a.m. Private interment Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Red Bird Mission, 70 Queendale Center, Beverly, KY, 40913.
