Obituary of Mary V. Michalski

Mary V. Salvatore Michalski, age 90, of Erie, went to be with her late loving husband of 65 years peacefully on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at St. Mary’s East. She was born on March 5, 1926 in Erie, the daughter of the late John and Mary Dilello Salvatore. She enjoyed golfing with her late husband and other family members. Mary belonged to a number of golf courses. Mary was a loving mom, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert “Bob” J. Michalski in 2011 and by numerous brothers and sisters. She is survived by two daughters; Judy A. Ferra (Mark) of Plainsboro, NJ, Karen Reilly (Jim) of Waterford, two sons; Robert J. Michalski (Penny) of Summit Twp., Rick Michalski (Mary Jane) of Albion, PA, nine grandchildren: Michelle, Marge, Becky, Alisa, Rick Jr., Amanda, Melissa, Caitlin, and Lauren, six great-grandchildren: Kassidy, Korbin, Breanna, Izzabelle, Samantha, and Madelyn, and many nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Private interment Laurel Hill Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff and nurses at St. Mary’s East for their wonderful care of our mother.
