David Robert Alexander David Robert Alexander, age 66, of Summit Twp., died February 8, 2012 at UPMC - Hamot surrounded by his loving family. He was the son of the late, Clarence Elliot and Beatrice H. Alexander. David is survived by his wife, Antoinette "Toni" Zielinski Alexander. David was blessed with sharing life with Antoinette, a loving/loyal wife, woman, and friend. He is further survived by his children, Jeffrey Glenn Alexander, (Angela), two grandsons, Troy David and Conner Daniel, all of Pittsburgh, his daughter, Kimberly Sue DeLand, (Ken), of Erie, Jason Shepard ( Andrea) and their children, Alexys and Jordan, of North East, Patrick Shepard (Kimberly), of Pittsburgh, great-grandson, Giovanni, sisters and brothers-in-law, several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. "I will forever remember the laughter and at times caring tears of those years Jeffrey, Kimberly, and I spent together. They were good years". He served four years in the United States Marine Corps which included fourteen months in Vietnam. David would like to thank all of those whom he shared moments of happiness with and apologies to all those where those moments did not prevail. Once a Marine, always a Marine. SEMPER FI. Friends may attend a funeral service on Friday, Feb. 10th, at The Cathedral of St. Paul Episcopal Church, 134 W. 7th St. at 11:00 a.m. conducted by The Very Rev. John Downey. Full military Marine Corps. interment at Mary Queen of Peace Cemetery, 6000 Lake Pleasant Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd., Erie, PA 16506.
