Passed away in Erie, PA on August 1, 2016 and was formerly from Tonawanda, NY. Betty was a WWII Navy veteran. Preceded in death by her husband, Eugene E. Burke. Beloved mother of Mary Elizabeth Gemmer (Daniel) and Maureen Schraven (James), five grandchildren, one brother R. Jack Brenner.
Friends may call at the D. Lawrence Ginnane Funeral Home, 3215 Delaware Ave., Kenmore, NY 14217, on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. and all are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Amelia’s R.C. Church, 2999 Eggert Rd., Tonawanda, NY on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 9 a.m. Inurnment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Local arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
