Obituary of Robert J. Kline

Robert J. Kline, age 83, of Mercer, PA, formerly of Erie and WI, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 in Mercer. He was born in Shamokin, PA on October 8, 1933, the son of the late Harry and Mildred Kline. He was a 1951 graduate of Lawrence Park H.S. He served in the US Army as an NCO in the operations section, artillery, and missile center at Fort Sill, OK and received two letters of commendation. Robert attended Milwaukee area Technical College. He was a manager of export parts and sales at Bucyrus International retiring in 1994 after 42 years of service. He traveled extensively in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. He was a member of the Bucyrus Quarter Century Club, Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, and the St. Vincent Auxiliary as a volunteer. He was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine M. Kline in 2001 and a brother Harry C. Kline. He is survived by his children: Lisa A. Weyers (Steve) of Mercer, Kenneth P. Kline (Laurie) of San Antonio, TX, Michael R. Kline (Mandy) of Macon, GA, eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one brother Donald A. Kline (Debbie) of Marryville, TN. Services were held at the convenience of the family under the direction of the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
