Obituary of John A. Pacileo

John A. Pacileo John A. Pacileo, age 86, of Erie, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital after an extended illness. He was born in Erie on July 14, 1930, the son of the late Joseph and Mildred Bort Pacileo. He graduated from Academy H.S. and served in the US Army during the Korean War. He owned and operated several butcher shops; A & P Meats, Butcher Boy Meats, and the Green Grocer. Before his retirement in 1996, John owned and operated several automobile dealerships including Pacileo Great Lakes Motor Co. John enjoyed watching his grandchildren playing sports and playing cards with his long-time card buddies: Jim, Lenny, and Rick. He just enjoyed his family immensely. He was preceded in death by one daughter Jodi Pacileo, one brother Joseph Pacileo, and two sisters; Mary Ann Dunham and Pauline Fortuna. He is survived by two sons; John A. Pacileo, II (Cindy) of Erie, James J. Pacileo of Slippery Rock, PA, two sisters; Natalie Pacileo of Fairview, Mary Ellen Lisiecki of Erie, one brother Jim Pacileo (Judy) of Albion, six grandchildren: Seth, Elisa, Shane, Julien, Jade, and Jonah, two great-grandchildren; Maddison and Scarlett. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday, January 16, 2017 from 4 until 8 p.m. and are invited there on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. for the Funeral Service conducted by the Rev.
