Obituary of Dennis Crotty

Dennis J. Crotty Dennis J. Crotty, age 71, of Millcreek Twp., passed away, Sunday, October 28, 2012, surrounded by his loving family, at Select Specialty Hospital. He was born on October 13, 1941 in Erie, the son of the late, Raymond F. and Katherine Valentine Crotty. He was a graduate of McDowell H.S. and Gannon College. He owned and operated his own insurance business, Crotty Insurance, since 1984. Dennis served on the Millcreek School Board for eleven years and was a member of the Elks and Yacht Clubs. He spent his winters with his wife in Venice, FL and enjoyed going to his hunting camp with his family. His most enjoyable times were spent with his family. He was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan as well. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janice M. Foht Crotty, one daughter, Natalie Rutkowsky (Mike) of Millcreek, two sons; Dennis M. Crotty (Kim) of Fairview Twp., Chip Crotty of Millcreek, four grandchildren: Stephanie and Alicia Rutkowsky and Katie and Kyle Crotty, two brothers; Raymond Crotty (Debbie) of Orlando, FL, Michael Crotty of Louisville, KY, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. for the funeral service conducted by the Rev. John Detisch. Private interment. You will be missed by all who knew and loved you.
