Obituary of Wilson E. Laird

Wilson “Bill” E. Laird Wilson E. “Bill” Laird, age 61, of Erie, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, surrounded by his loving family at Erie’s Veterans Medical Center. He was born in Erie on July 4, 1955, the son of George and Barbara Warner. Bill served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He had been employed at Glowacki Management, and drove school buses for Fairview Twp. School District and First Student in Millcreek Twp. His hobbies included hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife Traci Newsham Laird, three children Michelle Reichard, Christina Wilcox, and Billy Laird, six grandchildren: George and Jenny Higgins, Karina, Brandi, and Jamey Reichard and Mason Wilcox, and many other family members and friends. Services were privately held at the convenience of the family by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
