Betty J. Cuneo Betty J. Matthews Cuneo, age 82, of Erie, died Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Elmwood Presbyterian Lodge. She was born in Kersey, PA on June 25, 1927, the daughter of the late Walter Matthews and Anna Pontius Matthews Rhoads. She had been an Erie area resident since 1963. She was employed at Marx Toys and Carbon City Products in St. Marys. She was a member of Sacred Heart R. C. Church and enjoyed bingo, casino, Pittsburgh Pirate baseball, Alan Jackson fan, her grandchildren, and looking forward to the birth of her first great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Cuneo, one sister, Erma DeLullo and one brother, Ronald Matthews. She is survived by her children: Mary Kreider (Richard E.) of Edinboro, Linda Gehrlein (James R.) of Ft. Myers, FL, grandchildren: Adrianne DeLong (Christopher), Justin Snyder and his fiancé, Erin Turner, one step granddaughter, Sara Wurst (Nathan), two step great grandchildren, Austin Voelker and Katrina Kreider, and thirteen God children. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. for a prayer service followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart R.C. Church. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Elmwood Presbyterian Lodge, 2628 Elmwood Ave., Erie, PA 16508. Enhance your memorial with a slideshow and video
