Daniel “Dan” A. Deck

Daniel “Dan” Andrew Deck, age 55, of Erie, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 11, 2017.  He was born on August 8, 1961 in Erie, the son of the late Mary Jane and R. Jerry Deck. He was the former owner of the On Deck Bar and enjoyed coaching Little League Boys and Girls Baseball.

He is survived by his children: Kevin, Joshua, Alexis, and their mother Joan Rhea, and three grandchildren.  Also surviving are his brothers: R. Jerry Deck, Michael Deck (Patti Sitter), and Patrick Deck, his sisters: Mary Kathleen Sciarrino (John), Carol Dutczak (George), and Suellen Herman (David) and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. and are invited to St. Andrew R.C. Church, 1116 West 7th Street, Erie, PA 16502 on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 10:30 a.m. until time of the Memorial Mass at 11:00 a.m.  Inurnment Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
