Diane Patricia Miller Shaffer

Diane Patricia Miller Shaffer, age 66, of Millcreek Twp., passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at UPMC-Hamot after a brief illness.  She was born on February 25, 1951 in Erie, the daughter of the late Edward and Patricia Burns Miller.

Diane is survived by her brother James Miller (Dorothy) of Warminster, PA, and their children Janet and Steven; daughter Jennifer L. Miano (Dan) of Millcreek and their children Nathan and Nicholas; son Brian D. Shaffer (Nicole) of Goodyear, AZ and their children Logan and Katelyn, son Kevin W. Shaffer (Carrie) of Albion, PA and their family, and a long-time friend Joey Valenzuela.

Diane was employed at Erie Insurance Group, where she had worked for nearly 26 years.  Diane was a proud grandmother, she loved her dogs Sadie and Yogi, enjoyed reading, and looked forward to talking with friends and family about her favorite TV shows.  She will be terribly missed by all her friends and family.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 4 p.m. until time of a brief Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m.  Private inurnment Laurel Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of NW PA, 2707 Zimmerly Rd., Erie, PA 16506.
