Obituary of Ellen A. Vrenna

Ellen A. Vrenna, age 87, formerly of Millcreek Twp., passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017. She was born in Erie on June 29, 1930, daughter of the late Arthur and Alma Miller.

Ellen was a member of the former Bethany Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school. She then joined Luther Memorial Church. Ellen first worked at Hammermill Paper Co. and then Lazarus Department Store until her retirement.

Ellen is survived by her children, Chris A. Vrenna of Madison, WI, and Beth V. Kost (Michael) of Dalton, GA; two grandchildren, Quin and Kaden Kost; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Vrenna; her sister, Charlotte Stehle; and her brother, Joseph Miller.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Road, on Friday from 7 to 9 pm and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Saturday at 10 am, conducted by Rev. William E. Coleman. Interment, Laurel Hill Cemetery.
