Obituary of John H. Goddard

John H. Goddard, age 57 of Harborcreek Twp., passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017 after a brief illness. He was born in Erie on November 9, 1957, the son of the late Edgar G. and Eleanor G. Wagner Goddard.  John was a 1977 graduate of Harborcreek H.S. and was employed as a chef at the Waterfall Restaurant and then worked at Curtze Food Services.  He loved to play golf, was an avid Browns, Indians, and Pirates fan, and played fantasy football with his close friends and was the League Commissioner.

He is survived by three brothers: Rick Goddard (Judy) of Millcreek, Chris Goddard (Trish) of West Chester, PA, David Goddard (Linda) of Galloway, NJ, five nieces: Kelly, Courtney, Lindsay, Christie, Mackenzie, and two nephews; Tim and Sean. The family will be holding a private memorial gathering at a later date. The Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. handled all arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215 or to the charity of one’s choice.
