Obituary of Raymond Yurasko

Raymond Yurasko, age 61 of Summit Twp., passed away at his home on Thursday August 31, 2017, following an extended illness.  He was born in Erie on November 28, 1955, a son of Rose Wimer Stiles and Andrew Yurasko. 

Ray graduated from Great Lakes Institute of Technology where he was a 4.0 student in the Surgical Technician Program.  He always worked in the medical field, most recently as a paramedic with Emergycare and was very proud of saving lives.  He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed playing the guitar. 

Ray was preceded in death by his step-father Harold Stiles.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter, Nikki Guardascione; his siblings, Anthony (Kim) Yurasko, Linda Branch, Michelle (Bill) Bainbridge and Karen Stiles; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and his cat Mattie.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd, on Sunday from 1:00pm until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 pm.  Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Emergycare 1926 Peach St. Erie, PA 16502.
