Obituary of Daniel Angelo Luschini

Daniel Angelo Luschini, of Millcreek Twp., died Saturday September 16, 2017. He was born on September 28, 1919 and lived in Erie his entire life. He was the son of the late Archie and Corinna Puccinelli Luschini.
Dan retired from Bucyrus-Erie where he worked for 45 years. He was a WWII veteran, achieving the rank of Master Sargent in the Army and served in the Pacific Theatre. He was an avid golfer and at the age of 93 years young scored his second hole-in-one. He loved gardening and admired his impeccable work when finished. He played tennis, loved music and played the clarinet and enjoyed hunting. When retired he and his wife had their bags always ready for a new adventure.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two brothers; Raymond and Romeo (Mel).
Surviving is Regina, his wife of 64 years; two children, Mark Luschini and his wife Sue from Pittsburgh and Denise Luschini of Erie; and four grandchildren, Corinna, Mia, Isabella and Julian.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church 2401 West 38th St. Erie, PA 16506, on Saturday September 23, 2017 at 11:00AM. Interment will be private and held in the Mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
