Obituary of Terence J. Donovan

Terence J. “Terry” Donovan, age 52 of Erie, passed away on Thursday October 5, 2017 at LECOM at Presque Isle Nursing Facility.  He was born in Erie on December 5, 1964, a son of Richard E. and Margaret M. Deasey Donovan.

Terry attended Strong Vincent High School.  During his working years he worked as a warehouse manager at Erie Bearings and Ferguson.  He was a member of the Church of Christ and always had a special place in his heart for his church and his loving family.  Despite all of Terry’s health struggles over the years he never lost his sense of humor.  He enjoyed football and was an avid lifelong Oakland Raiders fan.    

Welcoming him to eternal life with his heavenly father are his grandparents, Elmer and Dorothy (Young) Donovan and James and Grace (Plummer) Deasey; sister, Stephanie Donovan; aunt, Anne Hancock; uncle, James Deasey and cousin David Wolfe. 

In addition to his parents he is survived by two brothers, Richard J. Donovan and his wife Michelle and Michael Donovan and his wife Cheri Jackline Donovan; three nieces, Lisa (Ryan) Kasbee and Victoria and Christina Donovan; four great-nieces and nephews, Blake, Lillian, Hannah and Tyler; his cousin and caregiver Patricia (Craig) Hall and many extended family members and friends.   

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Millcreek Community Hospital and LECOM at Presque Isle Nursing facility, for all their care and support.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Erie, PA 16506, on Saturday from 2:00 PM until the time of the memorial service there at 5:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o the funeral home.
