Thomas Lee Lewis

Thomas Lee Lewis, age 72, of Fairview Twp., passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017.  He was born on October 20, 1945 in Erie, the son of the late Burton E. and Helen T. Wells Lewis.  Tom was a 1963 graduate of McDowell H.S. and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era.  He was employed at American Trim as a plater and an enameller.  He was a member of the Organ Society and had attended McLane Baptist Church.  He enjoyed gardening, driving on trips, loved being with his family, was very accommodating, and was just a super nice “guy”.

He is survived by his sister Carol H. Hanna (John) of Fairview, two nieces; Daphyne Davis (Douglas) of Lancaster, PA, Sarah Hanna of Fairview, two grandnieces; Hannah Davis and Mykenzie Davis of Lancaster, his companion of many years Susan J. D’Amore of Edinboro, and a father to: Kenneth D’Amore (Emily), grandson Mason, Kelly Turnbo (Mickey) grandchildren; Jase, Hali, and Caleb, Christine Laycock and grandchildren: Andrea, Mathew, and Steven, great-grandchildren; Allie and Sean.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and are invited there on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. for the Funeral Service conducted by the Rev. Franklin Klein.  Interment Sterrettania Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Erie City Mission, 1017 French Street, Erie, PA 16512.
