Obituary of Frank J. Jordan
Frank J. Jordan, age 92 of Pleasant Ridge Manor, passed away peacefully there on Tuesday October 31, 2017. He was born in Youngstown, OH on June 28, 1925 a son of the late, Jerry and Frances Cassesse Jordan.
Frank was raised in Youngstown, OH and proudly served his country in the United States Army during WW II serving in the Pacific Theatre. He later moved to the Erie area, living in Crossingville and was a member of St. Phillips Catholic Church in Crossingville. Frank retired from Erie Forged Steel after 22 years of service. He was a longtime member of VFW Post #470 and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Along with his wife Shirley they enjoyed long car rides in the country and occasionally going to the casino.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Morgan Jordan; three sisters, Caroline Contestabile, Mary Orsini and Margaret Millero and one brother, Sam Jordan.
He is survived by four sons, Vaughn Jordan of Cincinnati, OH, Frank Jordan of Erie, Mike Jordan of Warren and John Jordan of Ohio; one daughter, Darlene Kenny of Erie; three step-children, Gary (Sandy) Erven of McKean, Sandra Erven Battles of San Antonio, TX and Donald (Sara) Erven of East Springfield, PA. Frank is further survived by thirteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, one brother, Jerry (Ida) Jordan of Boardman, OH and one sister-in-law, Dorothy Jordan.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Erie, PA 16506, on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service there at 2:00PM. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery, Crossingville, PA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o the funeral home.
