Thomas M. West

Thomas M. West, age 76, of McKean Twp., passed away on Friday, December 8, 2017.  He was born in North East, PA on July 12, 1941, the son of the late Floyd W. and Lorraine A. Bakerink West.  He retired from Erie GE after 27 years of employment.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Mary J. Rutkowski West.  He is also survived by one daughter Cathy Armagost and her husband George of McKean, one son Shawn T. West of Cranesville, two sisters; Maryann Townley (Randall) of Houston, TX, Julie Eddy (Don) of Ripley, NY, four grandchildren: Andy, William, Maddie, and Lexie, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by one brother David W. West. Private arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Private interment Erie County Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Erie Regional Cancer Center, 2500 West 12^th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
