Robert “Bob” C. Lipsey

Robert “Bob” C. Lipsey, age 73, of Summit Twp., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 5, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in St. Marys, PA on April 12, 1944, the son of the late Robert S. and Dorothy M. Matthews Lipsey.

He proudly served in the US Air Force.  Bob was a draftsman at D.H. Steel and then became a well know salesman at Arthur F. Schultz Furniture and Appliances. He loved his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Sandra “Sandy” A. Bugaj Lipsey, one daughter Lori M. Stankiewicz (David) of Millcreek, one son Robert J. Lipsey (Suzanna) of Summit Twp., four grandchildren: Ashley N. Yerkey of Millcreek, Karli A. Kropp (Michael) of Mt. Airy, MD, Justine M. Lipsey of Erie, Taylor O. Lipsey of Buffalo, NY, six great-grandchildren: Michael, Lucas, Liam, Kensington, Peyton, and Everleigh.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until time of prayers and sharing at 7:00 p.m. Private interment.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice in Bob’s name.
