Aris R. Davis Aris R. Davis, age 82, of Millcreek Twp. died Thursday, September 22, 2011 after a short illness. She was born in Erie on October 26, 1928, the daughter of the late, Virgil and Ruth Kilbane. She was employed as a music teacher at Osiecki Brothers Music Center and also worked at the Boston Store and Londons. She was a woman of integrity, honesty, and strength. She always uttered the phrase, "Life is Good", up until her last days. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, music, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gordon C. Davis (1987), her son, Daniel Davis (March 2011), and her brother, Hubert Kilbane. She is survived by her three children: Dale Davis, of Erie, Sharon (Suzy) Maloy (Charles), of KY, Donna Moats (Herm), of Erie, her daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Davis, of VA, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Sunday for the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. where her grandson, Jeremiah, will give the eulogy.
