Leonard DeLuca Leonard DeLuca, age 83, of Erie, died Friday, August 21, 2009 at Edinboro Manor after an extended illness. He was born on March 11, 1926 in Erie, the son of the late Frank and Berniece (Zdunski) DeLuca, Sr. He worked at Parker White Metal Co. for forty five years, retiring in 1989. He married Mary C. Steinbacher on January 12, 1946. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph DeLuca and his sister, Mary Ann Felde. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary C. Steinbacher DeLuca, his son, David DeLuca, one daughter, Donna DeLuca Mungle, both of Erie. Also surviving are three grandsons, Mark A. DeLuca, Sr., of Mt. Jewett, PA, Jason R. and Christopher D. Mungle, both of Erie, four great grandchildren: PFC. Mark A. DeLuca, Jr., US Marine Corps, Camp LeJeune, North Carolina, Michael A., Meagan A., and Matthew A.L. DeLuca, all of Mt. Jewett, PA. He is also survived by a brother, Frank DeLuca, Jr. (Dolores) of Columbus, OH and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. for prayers followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's RC Church 315 East 9th St. Erie, PA.
