Heaven gained an angel on Saturday, May 19, 2018, when Mario A. Pisano age 51, passed away unexpectedly.  He was born in Erie on July 6, 1966 the son of Victor A. Pisano of Erie and the late Joan Consider Pisano. 

 

Mario graduated from Cathedral Prep in 1984 and received his Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree from Idaho State University.  He was formerly employed at the Erie VA Medical Center, Walmart (Manager of Pharmacy) in Erie, Director of Pharmacy at the Penn Traffic Co. in Syracuse, NY, District Manager for Marc’s Pharmacies in East Cleveland, OH, and was presently the Assistant Director of Outpatient Retail Pharmacy at Metro Health Systems in East Cleveland, OH.  He was a member of St. Gabriel Roman Catholic Church in Concord, OH.  Mario embraced his Italian Heritage by making wine with his father and sons.  He also enjoyed remodeling his homes and most importantly spending time with his children and family.  Mario was always there to lead you down the right path with a loving heart and contagious smile.

 

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his father-in-law John Bizzarro.

 

He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Carrie A. Bizzarro Pisano; five children, Cara Marie, Mario Anthony Jr., Giovanni Anthony, Nicholas John and Maximillian Roman Pisano; one sister, Mary-Jo Pisano; three brothers, Matthew A. (Mary Ellen) Pisano, Michael A. (Michelle) Pisano and Robert A. (Andrea) Pisano; mother-in-law, Shirley A. Bizzarro; brother-in-law John (Carla) Bizzarro; sister-in-law, Angelina Bizzarro; brother-in-law Charles J. Bizzarro; sister-in-law, Andrea Bizzarro and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. 

 

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and are invited to a Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Private interment.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cardinal Autism Resources and Education School, 5028 Forest Rd. Mentor, OH 44060.
