Obituary of Audrey M. Lemon

Audrey M. Lemon, age 84, of McKean, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018. She was born in Erie on July 8, 1933, daughter of the late Milford Sr. and Alice Lemon.

Audrey was a corporate secretary with Holiday Inn, part of the Oakdale Corporation for several years. She then joined Interfaith Worship Center Inc. in the early seventies, actively serving in many capacities including secretary and treasurer. She ran “Audrey’s House” as a care provider for special needs adults who were loved as her own family for many years.

In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her brother Milford “Bud” Lemon, Jr. She is survived by two of her special children, Connie Carey and Cheryl Wilson; and her friends at the Interfaith Worship Center.

Friends will be received at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Road, on Sunday from 3 pm until the time of the Memorial Service there at 6 pm, conducted by Rev. Gene Kennett. Private interment will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to World Missions of IWC Inc., PO Box 552, Erie, PA 16512, to support mission projects in Ecuador.
