Obituary of Doris DiFillipo

Doris M. Bauschard Walmsley DiFillipo Doris M. DiFillipo, age 90, of Erie, passed away peacefully after an extended illness surrounded by her family on Friday, April 15, 2011 at Erie Presbyterian Lodge. She was born in Erie on June 13, 1920, the daughter of the late, Harvey and Ruth Stafford Bauschard Crossman. She was employed at the Erie Presbyterian Lodge as a certified nurse's assistant. She attended First Alliance Church and enjoyed traveling and shopping. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arnold Reese, her second husband, Charles Walmsley, and her third husband, Fred DiFillipo, one sister, Thelma Oberlander, and one brother, Robert Bauschard. She is survived by four daughters: Janice Taccone and Darlene Pelton, both of Erie, Susan Daugherty of Louisville, KY, Cheryl Gorton (Keith) of Ripley, one son, Charles Walmsley of Erie, one sister, Marjorie Schember of Erie, sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and a special friend, Jane Crilly. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday from 2 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m. conducted by the Rev. David Snyder. Private interment. Memorial contributions may be made to Erie Presbyterian Lodge "Caring for Life", 2628 Elmwood Avenue, Erie, PA 16508.
