Obituary of Anna Mae Hawley

Anna Mae Hawley, age 89 of Erie, passed away on Monday July 9, 2018 in Mesa, AZ.  She was born in Erie on August 18, 1928 a daughter of the late, Frank and Mae List Swalley.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Hawley and one son-in-law Casimir Dlugas Jr.

During her working career, Anna worked in the office for Erie Dispatch, Allied Aluminum and Moss Builders.  She was a member of the “T.O.P.S” club and enjoyed collecting Precious Memories figurines and working with pottery.

Anna is survived by one son, David (Sue) Hawley of Union City; two daughters, Sharon Dlugas of McKean and Susan Jeorge of Mesa, AZ; two grandchildren, Timothy (Michelle) Dlugas and Steven (Amanda) Dlugas; three great-grandchildren, Henry, Emery and Marek and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Erie, PA 16506, on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service there at 1:00 PM.  Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o the funeral home.
