“Loving Wife”
Jennifer Jo Potter, age 45, of Lake City, passed away at home unexpectedly on Thursday, July 26, 2018. She was born on November 16, 1972 in Gainesville, FL, and raised by her parents, Jerry and Bonnie Dixon, and was the daughter of the late Veronica Saenz.
She will always be remembered as a Loving Wife, Mother, Beloved Sister, and Adoring Aunt. She enjoyed listening to country music and was a big Florida Gators fan. While living in North Carolina, she was active in the Auto Racing Community and loved Big Trucks. Jennifer loved her furry “Babies”, Tucker and Sebastian very much. Jennifer had a generous heart, a beautiful smile, and a vibrant personality. She was instantly liked by all who knew her. When once asked, “What is my greatest accomplishment in life, the only answer that fits this question is my Son, Clay. He truly is my greatest accomplishment.”
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandmother Asalee Dixon.
She is survived by her loving husband, Geoffrey E. Potter, Jr., her sisters; Tami Owens-Ford of Gainesville, FL, Stephanie Acree and Tyler Saenz, both of Pensacola, FL, a brother M.J. Palmer of Brimfield, MA, sisters-in-law; Mary Swisher of Millcreek, Carole Leigh Smith (Bob) of Millcreek, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 pm Private interment.
