Daniel A. Dillon
Daniel A. Dillon, Jr., age 31, of Erie, surrounded by his loving family at Hamot Medical Center went peacefully with the Lord to travel new roads on Tuesday, July 17, 2007. He was born in Corry, PA on December 5, 1975, son of Daniel A. Dillon, Sr. and the late Nancy Hinkler.
He recently worked for Erie Wood Products. He attended McDowell High School and was a member of the Knights of St. Johns. He was blessed with a kind and gentle nature. He had such respect and love for all living creatures. He was a free spirit that enjoyed the outdoors and would travel the country often. He was a loving and devoted father; one of he proudest moments was the day his son was born. Danny lived life to the fullest and saw more than most people see in a lifetime. He was known for his intelligence, his wild laugh, and a very strong will along with a passion for music. He was quick witted and loved to make people laugh. He was an avid reader, and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping; but, most of all, he had a passion for fishing. He was taken from us far too soon and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Hinkler; paternal and maternal grandparents; and an uncle, Gary Dillon. He is survived by his father, Daniel Dillon, Sr.; step mother, Kaye Dillon; step father, Don Hinkler; his eleven year old son, Justus Pumphrey; one sister, Lynette Dippel, and her husband, Brian; one half-sister, Dusty Brooks; one step sister, Missy Enders; one step brother, Rick Enders, six aunts; five uncles; and many cousins, especially cousin, Jeff Stull, who was like a brother to Danny.
