Elizabeth Ann Ruzak

The world became a little less beautiful with the unexpected passing of Elizabeth Ruzak, age 48, on Tuesday, July 31, 2018. She was born on May 13, 1970 in Elizabeth, NJ, the daughter of Bonnie S. Tirrell (Joseph) of Oceanport, NJ. and Peter W. Ruzak of Mays Landing, NJ. Elizabeth was a florist for 33 years; her latest place of employment was Rose Floral.  She enjoyed reading, gardening, and her pets.

People learned from her gentile spirit and willingness to share.  We are all better people for having known her.

She brightened many lives with her ability to interpret peoples’ personalities with flowers.  Her scope was gentle and piercing.  For she could tell your warmth and depth as if reading a poem.

She is survived by her partner of 18 years David J. Thaler, Jr., one son Alexander Grayson Ruzak of Erie, and one brother Mitchell Ruzak of Erie.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 3 pm. until time of sharing at 7 pm. Private interment.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2115 West 38^th Street, Erie, PA 16508.
