Lucinda “Cindy” May Shaw Smith

Lucinda “Cindy” May Shaw Smith, age 81, of McKean Twp., went to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Beaver County, PA on June 9, 1937, the daughter of the late Herbert Kern Shaw and Sarah M. Alleman Shaw. Cindy was a graduate of Robert Morris College and Edinboro State College. She was a very loving mother and devoted wife who enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, gardening, and her latest love was coloring which dates back to her artist days.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene H. Smith and one son Scott Eric Smith.  She is survived by one daughter Sandra Elaine Hultberg (fiancé Wayne Bowersox, Jr.) of McKean Twp., one son Stuart Elliot Smith (Sherry) of Pueblo W., CO, six grandchildren: Katie and Steven Smith of CO., Jason and Dana Smith of East Springfield, Jamie Hultberg (Olivia Lucas) of Erie, Joshua Smith (Nikki) of AZ, two great-grandchildren Landon and Payton Smith of AZ, one daughter-in-law Debra Smith of East Springfield and was “loving mama Cindy” to Landon Eppolito and Genna and Myah Fassett.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 4 p.m. until time of the Funeral Service at 7 p.m. Private interment.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2115 West 38^th Street, Erie, PA 16508
