Obituary of Jeanne Ferraro

Jeanne Barton Dodsworth Ferraro, age 68 of Millcreek Twp., passed away at her home, following a brief illness on Monday August 20, 2018.  She was born in Erie on December 29, 1949 a daughter of the late James and Marian Hengstler Barton.

 

Jeanne graduated from Strong Vincent High School in 1967.  She worked locally as an administrative assistant retiring in 2014.  Jeanne loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She also enjoyed sewing, gardening, watching her soap operas, especially General Hospital and Pop-Tarts.   

 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-daughter, Darcey Ferraro.  

 

She is survived by her five children, Kimberly (Christopher) Bowes, Christine Lindsey, Joshua (Amanda) Ferraro, Carly Ferraro and Zachary Ferraro; four grandchildren, Alyssa, Emily, Gabrielle and Chance; one sister, Mary (Clarence) Beveridge and numerous nieces and nephews. 

 

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd., Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and are invited to a funeral service there on Friday morning at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
