Jeffrey “Jeff” J. Sills

Jeffrey “Jeff” J. Sills, age 50, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at UPMC-Hamot with his girlfriend, Lisa, by his side.

He was born in Erie on December 30, 1967, the son of the late Harvey Lee and Emily Kuchinski Sills. He graduated from Erie Tech in 1986 and was currently employed with the Erie Metro Transit Authority as a bus driver.

Jeff played hockey in a league, enjoyed fishing, birding, traveling, camping, and was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and the Oakland Raiders.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a good friend Mark.

He is survived by his girlfriend of 4 years, Lisa A. Banka, of Erie, his beloved dogs; Brandi and Kelly, his estranged wife Jaime Smulik Sills of Erie, one sister Christine Kimmy of Erie, one niece Emilie Kimmy and two great friends; Rick Lamp and Jimmy Austin.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd., Erie, PA 16506 on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
