Robert “Bob” Henry Woodard

 

 

 

Robert “Bob” H. Woodard, age 66, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital.  He was the son of the late Richard Lee Woodard and Minnie L. Woodard Twillie.

He was born on October 22, 1951 in Shubuta, Mississippi and had lived in Erie over 60 years.  He was a 1971 graduate of Strong Vincent High School

He was employed at GECAC and GE.  He loved music and sports.  He proudly served in the US Air Force.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother AC Woodard.  He leaves to cherish his memory three brothers; E. Lee Woodard (Vi), Richard Woodard, Jr. (Pat) of Erie, Jerry Lee Woodard of Columbus, OH, two aunts; Johnnie Ree Campbell, Mili Roberts, and Uncles Cecil E. Woodard, all of Erie, and John Twillie of Wayne County, Mississippi, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Services will be held at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 10:30 a.m. until time of the Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m.  Private interment.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the Funeral Home.
