Obituary of Sally DiSantis

Sally A. Wurst DiSantis Sally A. Wurst DiSantis, age 52, of Millcreek Twp., died Sunday, July 15, 2007 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Erie, PA on September 20, 1954, the daughter of Lavina M. Eisert Wurst and the late Leo A. Wurst. She was a 1972 graduate of McDowell Senior High School and also received an Associates Degree at Gannon University. Sally was employed at ENT of Northwest Pennsylvania as a radiologist technician. She was a member of St. George Roman Catholic Church and the American Radiologist Associates. She was an avid knitter, enjoyed traveling, and was involved in the Cursillo Movement, No. 194. She is survived by her husband of eleven years, Bill L. DiSantis of Millcreek; four sisters, Martha Wurst Hilbert and her husband, William, Sr., of Millcreek, Susan Wurst DiCara of Summit Twp., Nancy Wurst of Millcreek, and Patricia Wurst Herrmann of Millcreek; one step-daughter, Andrea DiSantis Wright and her husband, Kevin of Owings Mills, MD; one step-son, William DiSantis, Jr. of Erie; mother-in-law, Mary Grace DiSantis; in-laws, Ernest and Elizabeth DiSantis, Ronald DiSantis, Jeanne Marie and Randy Crays; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday from 2 to 7 p.m. and are invited there on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. for a prayer service followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. George Roman Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the John Kanzius Cancer Research Foundation in care of the Erie Community Foundation, 127 W. 6th St., Erie, PA 16501.
