Obituary of James Richard Klubert
James “Jim” Richard Klubert, age 69 of Wattsburg, passed away at his home on Wednesday December 5, 2018. He was born in Bellevue, PA on March 21, 1949, a son of the late Frances (Hontz) Klubert and Joseph C. Klubert. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one aunt, Betty Zeigler and one cousin, Bob Zeigler
Jim graduated from Bellevue High School in 1966 and proudly served his country in the United State Marine Corp from 1968 to 1971, serving in Vietnam. Upon his return from the war he attended IUP University. He worked for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board and most recently as a security guard at the PA Soldiers and Sailors Home in Erie. Jim was a WW II enthusiast and enjoyed reading, cooking and watching old movies.
He is survived by his wife, Monica M. (Podhurcak) Klubert whom he married on February 7, 1976; two cousins, Diane Chetoka and Patti Bennett; two sisters-in-law, Valerie Beer of Pittsburgh and Joann (Peter) Protopapa of Chicago, IL; one brother-in-law Michael Kennedy of Atlanta, GA and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
