I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Gary. I spent a lot of time with my grandpa (John Koehler) as a child and Gary was often around helping out my grandpa. He was a kind soul.

Gary you will NEVER be forgotten, you were one of those rare kind of souls that a person comes around maybe 4x in a lifetime and I know I am personally happy to have known you and to have been able to get to grow up with you and your sister...I'll never forget the things you've done for me in my time of need in middle School and I still wish I was able to pay you back for it. You have my deepest condolences on your loss. The Apostle Paul wrote at 1 Corinthians 15:26 that ‘death is an enemy’. We find this to be so true, as death robs us of friends and loved ones, but we can take comfort in his words recorded in the book of Acts 24:15 “that there is going to be a resurrection”. The Apostle Paul was not only talking about the things he saw but also repeating what the Lord Jesus Christ said as recorded at John 5:28, 29 that there would come a time “when all those in the memorial tomb would hear his voice and come out.” These words can bring us the comfort that we will be reunited with our loved ones in the near future. A future where there is no more pain, suffering or death, or depression (Revelations 21:4). This is a promise from Jehovah God.
It is my deepest wish that these words bring you a measure of comfort in your time of grief.

It is still hard to believe. Gary lit up a room when he walked in. I have not seen him in a long time but I'm sure that never changed. He had a beautiful heart and all that knew him, knew that. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Rest in peace Gary.
