                                                        James “Jim” Edward Taylor

 

 

James “Jim” Edward Taylor passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019 surrounded by family.  Jim was born in Erie, PA and worked 40 years at General Electric as a machinist before retiring.  He was an avid reader.   He also enjoyed cooking and watching cooking programs. He loved hunting and fishing and spending time on his boat fishing for walleye.  He always enjoyed spending time at his camp and being outdoors.  He loved dogs and animals, especially beagles. He was happiest spending time with family and especially his grandchildren who brought him great joy.  They were his pride and joy.  His smile and laugh will be forever missed.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Harriet Taylor as well as cousins, aunts and uncles, and his late wife, Linda Taylor.  He is survived by his children, Christine Kissoondial (Barry), Paul Taylor, Deborah Sabo (Paul), Terry Taylor, and James Taylor (Laura).  As well as his grandchildren, Emily, Gabby, Jacob, Joseph, Erin (Ray), Melissa, and Great- Grandchildren, Taylor and Catalina.  Christine and Barry would like to thank his loving caregivers who also became like family over the last 4 years. Their care and concern for Jim was greatly appreciated.

Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 12:00 Noon until time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.
